The Colton FFA Chapter strives to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

  • 35 Current Members
  • Exhibit livestock at both the Spokane Junior Livestock show and Palouse Empire Fair.
  • Compete in a variety of leadership Career Development Events ranging from livestock judging to Prepared Public Speaking.
  • Attend and compete at the Washington State FFA Convention every spring.
  • Travel, compete, learn life skills and make lifelong friendships
The Three-Component Model
3 component model

Instruction: Contextual, INQUIRY-BASED Instruction and Learning through an interactive classroom and laboratory.

SAE: Experiential, Service, and/or Work-Based Learning through the Implementation of a Supervised Agricultural Experience Program.

FFA: Premier Leadership, Personal Growth and Career Success through Engagement in FFA, PAS, or NYFEA programs and activities.
